The Student Poster Session provides an opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students attending PLDI 2005 to present and discuss their research. This event will be held during the conference reception on Sunday, June 12, 7-9pm, and will feature concurrent short presentations by student participants organized in poster formats. PLDI 2005 attendees, students as well as non-students, are invited to wander among the posters and talk to the students about their research.

Students who wish to present a poster display of their research must submit the following information:

• A draft of the poster (size: 91 cm wide, 122 cm high) in Ghostscript-compatible Postscript or in MS PowerPoint.
• A brief prose (up to 500 words) explaining the content of the poster, if necessary,
• Presenter's email address, phone number and surface mail address,
• Name of department and school,
• Name of academic advisor.

The submissions should be emailed to bodik@cs.berkeley.edu by May 25, 2005.

Funding for Student Participants:
Students presenting posters are encouraged to apply for funding through the SIGPLAN PAC program.
