How is the inside/outside classification performed that is needed for Boolean operations ?
How is the necessary geometrical detail-resolution achieved near the intersection curves ?
What "tricks" are used to improve efficiency of the key algorithms ?

What are advantages and disadvantages of point clouds over traditional, parametric surfaces ?
How is the inside/outside point test made robust in the presence of a loosely sampled surface ?
How can coherence be used to make this process efficient when finding an itersection curve ?
How is smooth blending performed between two intersecting surfaces ?
