CS 284 - Invent a Subdivision Scheme
Re-group your seating, so that you form these groups:
Sushrut Pavanaskar, Kerstin Keller, Arpad Kovacs, Yungil Lee ;
Jimmy Andrews, Minerva Pillai, Alexei Baboulevitch;
Eric Biggs, Toby Mitchell, Yu (Alex) Li, Evan Rosky;
In these groups now try to devise an interpolating subdivision
scheme for quad-meshes (with only quadrilateral facets):
Define where new vertices will be introduced, and
how their x,y,z coordinates will be computed.
Discuss how you would test your scheme,
and how you can assure G1 continuity.
