FINAL PROJECT REPORT, Spring 2006
DUE: Monday 5/15/2006, noon.
Make your report an on on-line Web document (html plus figures).
All materials that are essential to the report
should be put into one directory.
Please send me the URL and make sure that I have
access to the whole directory,
so that I can copy
the materials into a "permanent" CS285-2002 web document.
Report Specifications:
Should be the equivalent of about 5-10 pages in length.
Don't make this too fancy! -- no need for movies or audio channels...
Follow the main point that I requested for your final presentations, e.g,,
- State the problem you attacked.
- Describe what you have accomplished
-- and document it with a few pictures.
- Explain how you did it
-- describe your algorithm(s)
-- perhaps show some math
- Review what might be learned from your experience
that might be of broad applicability.
- Add a user's manual to your software as a separate linked document.
Transfer of Design Files or CAD Tool Software:
Before Monday midnight, please transfer relevant software associated with your project to me.
This may consist of STL files of a designed part, or of an executbale of a CAD tool.
You can either do that with a ZIP file, or by sending me a URL from where I can get the necessary files.
If necessary, please schedule a meeting at a mutually convenient time
to help me transfer and install your software to my environment.
