Introduction
CorporateTime Server is scalable, open standards-based calendaring software for efficiently scheduling people and resources enterprise-wide. Among other features, CorporateTime Server offers multiple time zone support, LDAP connectors, a distributed database, UTF-8 encoding, mail notification, real-time lookups, free-time searches and multiple platform support.
Open standards ensure that CorporateTime Server will integrate well with existing environments, while support for Internet mail and web standards allows users without CorporateTime accounts to be notified of meetings. LDAP integration allows CorporateTime Server to share the same user account information with other LDAP-capable servers. CorporateTime Server 4.0 is available in one of two configurations, using either an internal or an external directory. Support for the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is offered through separate connectors: CorporateConnect 1.1 for ISOCOR Global Directory Server, CorporateConnect 1.1 for CDS Global Directory Server, and CorporateConnect 1.1 for Netscape Directory Server.
This Administrator's Guide documents installation, configuration and maintenance procedures for the CorporateTime Server.
