Technical Electives for the Computer Science Major

Technical electives are upper division courses that can be applied towards the completion of the necessary 27 units of upper division course work for computer science majors. These technical electives are taken in addition to the core and breadth requirements for computer science. All technical electives that are to be used towards the 27 units of upper division course work must be taken for a letter grade. If you feel that an upper division or graduate level course that is not on this list should be, submit a written request including an extended course description with the staff in the CS Advising office, 377 Soda Hall.
