EECS Department Peer Advising

Allie Stoyanova and Ronald Kwan

Our peer advisers are the first point of contact for students when visiting our offices. They provide advice, support, and motivation to students on a broad range of topics and issues including: student involvement, registration information, major requirements, research opportunities, internship searches, and much more. We believe that a student's perspective is valuable in helping other students make decisions about life at Cal. Please visit our peer advisers during their office hours or contact them via email.

He has interned at Qualcomm and Sandia National Laboratories, and is an active member of MUSA, serving as the Chief Technology Officer for the Berkeley Math Tournament. His free time is also spent staring at a computer screen, but in the pursuit of less productive activities, such as playing video games and watching anime. The best course he has taken thus far is CS C281A/Stat C241A (Statistical Learning Theory).
