I am a research assistant professor at TTI Chicago. I did my graduate studies at the CS DivisionUniversity of California, Berkeley. I joined the CS Division in August 2002 after completing undergraduate studies at IIT Kanpur, India. I got my Master's degree in Statistics in 2005 and finished my PhD in Computer Science in 2007. After five wonderful years in Berkeley, I have now moved to Chicago. My webpage at TTI-C is here.

I work in Machine Learning and my PhD advisor was Professor Peter Bartlett. In my research, I've worked on topics like support vector machines (SVMs), multiclass classification, reinforcement learning, online learning and bandit problems.
