This talk was given October 1, 1996 as the keynote for the Second
NOW Workshop, which was part of ASPLOS VII in Boston.
It is intended for VGA screens and thus expects your browser to be about 640
pixels wide (and at least 480 tall). For best results, resize your browser
to be at least slightly bigger than the grey border around this slide. For the talk,
I set the font size (in Netscape) to be 22 point Optima, but anything sans
serif between 18-24 points works OK.
It also uses Shockwave for two animations. If you have not used Shockwave before, you will have to
download it from here.
If you want me to give the talk somewhere, send me e-mail.
