I'm a wannabe hippie living in Berkeley, California. My day job is as a PhD student at UC Berkeley studying computational models of visual perception. Growing up I lived in different parts of the world -- India, Africa, the midwest, and Delaware. I'm fascinated by lots and over the years I've tried my best to pursue my varied interests. Before the PhD, I was popping around the world for a few years studying meditation, spirituality and looking for the meaning of life :-).
