About

Welcome to my homepage. My name is Charalampos (Babis) Papamanthou and I am a postdoctoral researcher at UC Berkeley's Computer Science Division , working with Dawn Song. My research interests are in Computer Security and Applied Cryptography, with a specific emphasis on technologies, systems and theory providing secure computations in the cloud.

I graduated with a PhD in Computer Science from Brown University in May 2011, where I was fortunate to be advised by Roberto Tamassia. My PhD thesis was about authenticated data structures. While at Brown, I spent two summers interning at Intel Research and Microsoft Research.
