Faculty Candidate Committee

Duties

The Faculty Candidate Liason's job is to arrange a time and a place for faculty candidates to talk to grad students. Sign up for a slot with the CS department scheduling assistant---the sooner you sign up, the better, as faculty will be vying for the same (limited) slots. If you go to a cafe or bar, you also must handle getting reimbursed by the CS department.

The timing of duties all depends on when the candidates come around for their interviews. The busiest time of year is just before the Spring Faculty retreat, around mid-April.
