Treasurer

Duties

• Prepare annual budget and make sure there's enough money for it.
• Handle finances and reimbursements for weekly social hour and other special events (e.g., annual picnic, new student welcome events, etc.)
• Register the CSGSA organization with the Graduate Assembly (for funding and voting purposes).
• Hold student gripe session each semester (joint duty with President).
• Send thank-you notes to companies that donate money (with the President).

Other Info:

• We get $500 from the department for orientation and recruitment activities (plus the department pays for the new student ice cream social held jointly with EECS) and $300 for each CSGSA sponsored company infosession. Ask Sheila Humphreys and Robert Wilensky to help approach companies about larger donations to fund donut hour.
