VRP04_DESCR=We want to create a VR - based game. The details are still
fuzzy, but features would include multiplayer capability,
vr-style gear for i/o (headset + spaceball and/or glove).

We feel that SGI's performer would work well here. Our
understanding is that performer includes a rather low-level
graphics library which would be an ideal fit for our purpose
as it would provide maximum performance and infinite flexi-
bility. We plan to have realistic sound effects and real-
time interactivity. As we have not yet seen the capabili-
ties of performer it is hard to guage the level of detail
we would be able to give our world. If performance is
satisfactory we would like to include texture-mapping and
realistic models.
