The goal of this project is to creat reusable devices to detect the time delay in the VE environment, including the hardware (polhemus sensor, fast track box, SGI hardware) and the software. Besides, I want to build a proper, accurate and simple, multi-step prediction algorithm in order to compensate the time delay in the VE system. 2. The next step beyond CS294 is to build an IC, counters and high-frequency timers, in order to give much more measurement accuracy. PROJECT_STATUS06_WDONE=1. A simple VE is calibrated according to a phsical environment. 2. Two photodiodes are applied to detect the time delay in the VE system. The oscilloscope is used to view the delay. 3. Head movement prediction algorithm is fully tested in simulation mode and ready to transfer to C-code and applied on real system. Can I arrange a time on Wednesday afternoon at 486 Minor Hall to present my project? Thanks
