Some browsers may mangle the From address, so I need both your full name and your email address just in case. Your name, email address, and URL will be available from the class's page. Your citizenship, daytime phone number, and preferred T3E username will be used to get an account on NERSC's Cray T3E. We may need other information to obtain CS password entries for the Millennium cluster; we'll ask for those when we know more. Your other phone number may be used in case of last-minute changes.

Enrollment status: Enrolled Auditting Undecided

Auditors are encouraged to enroll for the class with the P/NP option, where a P will be awarded for satisfactory class participation over the course of the semester.

Most homework assignments will be completed by teams. Each team member's interests and experiences should complement the others' and not duplicate them. We will use the following checklist to help you find appropriate teammates if necessary.
