I'm a fourth year undergraduate CS major. I have some experience in parallel programming (I currently work for the Titanium group, under the supervision of Professor Yelick) and I'm interested in this class mainly because it is relevant to the work that I do and because parallel computing has many scientific applications. I also hope to gain a better understanding of parallel computing performance.
