I am a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science Division of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, at the University of California, Berkeley. My research interests lie in the realms of Data Management Systems and Machine Learning. I am a member of the Database Group, and I'm working with Prof. Minos Garofalakis.

I received my M.Sc. (2004) and B.Sc. (2002) degrees from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Before coming to Berkeley, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Database Group of the Dept. of Informatics and Telecommunications, under the guidance of Prof. Yannis Ioannidis, and before that at the Software and Knowledge Engineering Lab, of the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications, of the National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos".
