7/15/07: Two other grad students and I wrote a very cool (in my opinion) paper on using technology to promote sustainability for a Ubicomp workshop on sustainability. Check it out here.
6/10/07: The SMURF paper was selected as one of the best papers of VLDB '06. The extended edition to appear in the VLDB journal, where we discuss "Metaphysical Data Independence", is now up on my research page.
5/21/07: Lots of news. Passed quals last week (huzzah!). Added pics from dbgroup sailing to my pics page. Back at Berkeley now to finish up my thesis!
12/19/06: Some fairly major changes to my research page to reflect a slight change in direction after starting work at/with Goooooogle: my primary research is now on pay-as-you-go dataspaces.

9/06/06: Back in Berkeley after eating yumminess at Google. Recent updates: added talks and papers from the last few months to the research page, small updates to resume.

9/21/05: The initial ESP work has been accepted as a poster to ICDE 06. I have posted the UCB tech report version on the research page.

1/20/05: I made some minor updates to reflect a new semester and a busy break (talks @ CIDR and a retreat). Oh yeah, and there is yet another car monkey cruising around in the Monkeymobile. She has yet to be named.

10/18/04: The HiFi vision paper was accepted to CIDR.
8/12/04: Updated my webpage to reflect the fact that I am a growing boy. I hereby proclaim I am a second year student! Huzzah! I also added some research meat, now that the project I am working on, HiFi, is getting underway.
