The HP ScanJet ADF is a 24 bit color scanner. It features a document feeder and full-sized flat-bed scanning for ease and comfort. It turns on via a black switch on the right-hand side of the base of the scanner. You can tell if the scanner is on if there is a green light in the front of the scanner.

DeskScan II is the native scanning application for the HP ScanJet. If you are going to use your own image enhancement software, you probably will find this program to be faster and more suited to what you wish to do. If you need to have image format and/or image enhancement support, we suggest that you scan from within Adobe Photoshop 3.0.
