We have recently finished building our 3D printer. Primary components include a motor controlled x-y axis substrate plate, a motor controlled z-axis printhead mount, horizontal and vertical camera systems, pneumatics controller, and 60 micron print heads.

We are currently trying to print simple mechanisms which incorporate low-level actuator designs. These include expanding planar actuators and bimorphs actuators.
