Yan Zhuang's Research Activities

My research interests include (but not limited to) real-time simulation and animation of physically realistic global deformation of 3D objects, geometric algorithms for parts design and manipulations, MEMS, and various aspects of computer graphics, robotics and automations.


        By global deformation we mean deformations that involve the entire body, in contrast to the local deformation such as squeezing and poking.
