Karthik Narayan

I am a fourth year Ph.D. student working with Pieter Abbeel and Jitendra Malik at UC Berkeley. I was funded by the NSF Graduate Fellowship, and am now funded by the NDSEG Fellowship.

I've spent time at Google, Cornell CLASSE, and Amrita University. I received my undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Discrete Mathematics from Georgia Tech.

This fall, I will be an intern at Citadel LLC's Quantitative Strategies Group.

My research focuses on developing low-cost high-fidelity portable 3D scanners. I have also developed nonlinear dimensionality reduction algorithms to visualize large datasets.
