D3: Declarative Distributed Debugging Byung-Gon Chun, Kuang Chen, Gunho Lee, Randy H. Katz and Scott Shenker. UC Berkeley Technical Report. 2008.

me me me

i am a first year graduate student. i am roughly interested in databases, and saving the world. as such, i am advised by Joe Hellerstein, and co-advised by Tapan Parikh

currently, i'm working on how collaborative data visualization, data entry and data integration tools can help community health workers in developing regions do their jobs better.

i'm also taking lots of classes and studying for prelims.

before, my dear cohorts and i used P2, a system for bulding declarative overlay networks, to address distribute debugging.
a different set folks (but no less dear) and i also used P2 for distributed inference. we implemented a bunch of inference algorithms (like junction tree and a variety of loopy belief propagation) using P2's declarative language (link to results coming soon!).

i use facebook, so look me up!

i sit in soda 421 with the exceptional women of berkeley db. i also like hanging out in the RAD Lab.

i play many sports badly; in order of my current appreciation: tennis, basketball, skiing, golf, running. i want to learn to play ultimate!
