Hi!
I'm Kuang. I was a computer science PhD student here from Fall 2007 to Fall 2011. I've received my PhD and recently co-founded Captricity, Inc to push the research we've been working on to fruition.
My research focuses on data management systems that help low-resource organizations and people in the developing world. I am interested in improving local practices in data collection, data quality, information integration and analytics.
I work with these wonderful gentlemen: Joe Hellerstein and Tapan Parikh.
And special shout outs to the Y! Labs Technology for Good Fellowship, the Gates Foundation and Survey Monkey.
