I graduated with a Ph.D. in Computer Science at U.C. Berkeley in May 2011. I still collaborate with my advisor, Prof. Jitendra Malik. My recent research interests are on detection, segmentation, 3D-pose estimation, action recognition and attribute classification of people and other categories using poselets.
I am also a researcher at Adobe's Advanced Technology Labs reporting to David Salesin. I have been working in Adobe's ATL for 13 years. Some of my work has resulted in features for Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere and Photoshop Elements. Check out my personal web site for more on my projects at Adobe.
I have a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Brown University where I was co-advised by Prof. Andy van Dam and Prof. John Hughes.
My slighly outdated CV is available here.
