About me

Lester Mackey

I'm a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science division of UC Berkeley, slated to graduate in 2012. I'm a member of the Statistical Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (SAIL), under the supervision of Mike Jordan. I earned my B.S.E. in Computer Science from Princeton University in 2007 and my M.A. in Statistics from UC Berkeley in 2011. My current research interests include Statistical Machine Learning and Algorithms and Data Structures. Quixotic though it may sound, I hope to use computer science and statistics to change the world for the better. If you have thoughts on how to do this, feel free to contact me.
