Mobin Javed
I am a second year graduate student in the Computer Science PhD program at UC Berkeley, where I'm fortunate to be advised by Prof. Vern Paxson. My research mainly focuses on network security.
Prior to moving to Berkeley, I received my MS in Communication Systems Engineering from School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan. For my Masters thesis, I worked under the supervision of Dr. Ali Khayam at WiSNet lab.
At UC Berkeley, I'm a co-president of the association for Women in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (WICSE) with Qie Hu.
