Getting to San Francisco

You can fly into San Francisco International Airport (14 miles), Oakland International Airport (20 miles), or San Jose International Airport (47 miles).

Getting to the Conference Hotel from the Airport

The conference hotel is the Stanford Court Hotel, 905 California Street, in San Francisco's Nob Hill district, at the intersection of the two main cable car lines.

 

Accommodation

All the conference events will take place at The Stanford Court Hotel. We have reserved a room block at the price of USD189 + tax per room per day. Participants should contact the hotel directly to reserve a room. Be sure to mention the POPL event.

Visa support letters

The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) does not issue formal invitation letters for visas. ACM can however issue a visa support letter. All requests should be sent to Ashley Cozzi at acozzi@acm.org with the following information:
  • Name and mailing address as it appears on passport.
  • The name of the conference you wish to attend.
  • Your Registration confirmation number.
  • Title and authors of any papers accepted for the conference.
  • A valid fax number.
Visa support letters will not be issued via email under any circumstances and should be requested at least 6-8 weeks prior to the conference.
