The BISC Special Interest Group on Fuzzy Logic and the Internet

BISC-SIG-FLINT
Message to BISC

The BISC Group (Berkeley Initiative in Soft Computing) has launched a Special Interest Group on Fuzzy Logic and the Internet (BISC-SIG-FLINT) and an International Advisory Committee, chaired by Dr. M. Nikravesh, is being formed.  The main purpose of the Group is to draw attention of the fuzzy logic community to the fundamental importance of Internet-related problems, especially those centering on search and deduction in large, unstructured knowledge bases.

BISC-SIG-FLINT currently has over 80 International Advisory Committee members from around the world. While no special duties or responsibilities assigned to members, the committee provides advice, suggests initiatives or post a message--of any length-- to the BISC Group, expressing views on fuzzy-logic-Internet related issues.
