Projects

I am in the process of starting new research projects in robotics, machine learning and control at UC Berkeley. If you are a student (graduate or undergraduate) at UC Berkeley and interested in getting involved, feel free to get in touch with me.

During my PhD, amongst others, we developed "apprenticeship learning" algorithms, which leverage expert demonstrations to efficiently develop autonomous control policies for a variety of robots. These apprenticeship learning algorithms have enabled an autonomous helicopter to perform a very large range of highly challenging aerobatic maneuvers. More details can be found on the autonomous helicopter homepage.

You can find more information in my publications.

I am co-organizing two workshops at RSS 2009. We are currently solliciting poster abstract submissions for both workshops. Please see their respective webpages for a tentative schedule.
