Graduate Student,
Department of Computer Science,
University of California, Berkeley

I am a second year PhD student at UC Berkeley. I am advised by Jitendra Malik and Jack Gallant . I also hangout with the research group at Redwood Center of Theoretical Neuroscience. Currently, I am supported by Fulbright Science and Technology Fellowship. I am working on brain reading and computer vision. I also wish to understand the computational principles which make the human brain tick!

Before coming to Berkeley, I was a student in the department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur from where I graduated in 2011. In 2010, I was a visiting researcher at Carnegie Mellon and worked with Bhiksha Raj . In 2009, I worked on my first research project with Jonathan Manton at University of Melbourne. For my high-school education I went to Puranchandra Vidyaniketan in Kanpur.

At IIT Kanpur, I served as the General Secretary of Science and Technology Council in 2010-11 and was associated with the institue water-polo team.
