CS 285: SOLID MODELING, Spring 2000
Assignment #6 : Recursive Torus
Following the reasoning model presented in class,
design a recursive torus, using simple geometrical
primitives and boolean set operations.
The constructions from which you should draw your
inspiration for your design process are:
the Sierpinsky triangle
and
the Sierpinsky arrowhead
as well as
the Sierpinsky carpet
and the Menger sponge
Due Dates:
Wednesday 4/5/00, 10:40am
Hand in 0.5 to 1.0 page of text describing your construction
and why you believe that it is an appropriate solution.
Also mention the trade-offs you were forced to make.
Accompany your text with a couple of figures of your "Recursive Torus."
