The penguin is the Linux penguin, named Tux, drawn by Larry Ewing. His page grants permission to use it as long as he's acknowledged.

The pictures were composited with The GIMP. It was my first attempt to use this software. And of course, spending time making this picture is how I've managed to avoid doing any real work on this project.
