I am currently a Software Engineer at Google. I am working on Google's monitoring and debugging infrastructure.
I received my Ph.D from UC Berkeley in 2010. I was in the RAD Lab in EECS Department. My advisors are Prof. David Patterson and Prof. Armando Fox. My dissertation is on analyzing free text console logs for problem detection.
I have a broad research interest in distributed system design, especially automated system mangement and debugging using machine learning / data mining techniques. I am particularly interested in cloud computing systems design and big data analytics.
