Trying to find my life story?
I grew up and went to school in western New York. I then moved along to
Pittsburgh, PA where I spent a few years and then completed my BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering (with an emphasis on Computer) at Carnegie Mellon University
in December 2000. After graduating I promptly packed my bags, moved to
California, and worked
as a Hardware Engineer (ASIC Design Verification) at the San Jose campus of Cisco.
I quickly realised I wanted to go back to school, so I packed my
bags yet again and moved up to Berkeley.
I've been a graduate student here
at UCB in the
Computer Science Ph.D. program since August 2001. Oddly enough, even
with the nearly perfect weather we have here in northern california, I
still miss snow.
Anyway, my life goals
include eventually leaving this place with a Dr. in front of my
name; which obviously means I will have made an impact with what I hope
is world class research in the field of computer architecture.
